Fashion Floors won the Angie's List 2007 Super Service Award in only its first year of membership ... a pretty impressive and telling recognition of Bob's talent and professionalism. And he was honored again in 2009, 2010 AND 2011!
Bob's interest in working with wood began back in junior high when his talent was revealed in wood shop class.
By his mid-twenties, Bob had gained the education and experience he needed to start his own hardwood flooring business, then known as Fashion Flooring. In 2000, Bob incorporated his business as Fashion Floors by Bob, Inc.
Bob is sole owner, is on site for every project, and considers his craftsmanship an art. The durability and beauty of a hardwood floor depends on painstaking details, working around obstacles, measuring with absolute precision, cutting and molding pieces of wood to fit perfectly together, placing boards in the most aesthetically pleasing positions, great care in a smooth sand, coating with an artist's hand ... Bob leaves his signature on every wood floor project through his conscientiousness and enthusiasm.

When he hangs up his knee pads for the day, Bob coaches elementary sports; participates in local politics and church activities; makes wood shelves and restores furniture; enjoys fishing in all seasons; is captain of his bowling team and President of the league, and bakes up a storm in the kitchen, sharing his signature apple crisp and banana bread with friends, family, neighbors and even customers. Oh, and he's a karaoke junkie. You might hear him singing on the job!
